The rear wheel is away being built and I have ordered the spokes for the front, the sample rod end was a perfect match and I ordered the rest to complete the steering rods. I have also sent the seat away to be recovered and I am about to take a deep breath and order some very expensive electrics for the engine assembly. The hub refurbishment is progressing and new parts are being made for it.

I have also ordered two sets of shock absorbers from RAM shocks they have agreed to allow me to swap out the front springs as I set the machine up- it has to be a guess as the original air shocks are flat and no-one knows what pressure they were set to…

I have refurbished the front arms and repainted them with “POR15 Top coat”  I made new spacers and end washers complete with O rings for the bearings and added new grease nipples, the shell bearings and bearing centre were retained

Views of a trial assembly of steering column and some linkages I have used stainless Allen screws and bolts and self locking nuts

The main yoke will be completed once it has been utilised as a final truing jig for the front wheel assembly respoke.

Another high cost item was the purchase of pistons for the AP callipers, master cylinder and seals, but at least Andover Norton had them.
